✂️ Cancellations & No-Shows

We completely understand that life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

Last-minute cancellations and no-shows make it difficult for us to fill your appointment time. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or do not show up, future appointments may require full payment in advance to secure your booking.

🐾 Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This allows us to give each dog our full attention and keep the studio calm and comfortable.

At drop-off, we will give you an estimated pick-up time and let you know when your dog is almost ready.

Please pick up your dog within 45 minutes of being notified that they are ready. A $25 late pick-up fee will apply after 45 minutes. Your dog may also need to remain safely crated while waiting.

If you would like an update during your dog's appointment, please call the studio rather than stopping by. Seeing their favourite person can be very exciting and may make it difficult or unsafe to finish the groom.

🦟 Fleas

For the health and safety of all our clients and our studio, we do not offer flea baths or flea treatments.

If live fleas are discovered during your dog's appointment, the grooming service will be stopped and your dog will need to go home.

Please let us know before your appointment if you suspect your dog may have fleas.

🐕 Safety & Aggressive Behaviour

The safety of your dog, our clients, and our groomer always comes first.

We are unable to groom dogs who display human-directed aggression or behaviour that makes grooming unsafe. If a dog becomes unsafe to handle at any point during an appointment, we reserve the right to stop the service.

Some dogs may require a muzzle for certain procedures, such as nail trimming. If your dog normally wears a muzzle, please bring one that fits properly and that your dog is comfortable wearing.

We will always do our best to work with your dog safely and compassionately, but we will never put a dog or person at unnecessary risk.

💚 Senior Dogs

Your dog's health and well-being are always our number one priority.

Senior dogs receive extra care, patience, and consideration during their grooming appointment. If at any point we feel that continuing the groom could put your dog's health or comfort at risk, we will stop the service immediately.

A signed waiver is required for dogs over 10 years of age.

🐩 Matted Coats

We understand that sometimes coats become more tangled or matted than expected — no judgment here! 💕

For your dog's comfort and safety, we do not offer extensive or severe dematting.

If a small amount of dematting is possible and appropriate, an additional dematting fee may be added to your final bill.

A signed waiver is required for dogs with significant matting.

In cases of severe matting, we may recommend clipping the coat short rather than attempting to brush it out. Our priority will always be your dog's comfort and well-being.
